Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is hiring a Part-Time Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment for our clients. A working knowledge of commercial refrigeration and electrical controls is required to be successful in this role.

The position pays $25–$30 per hour and requires 2–3 hours per day, 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, within 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC tech school preferred.
• EPA universal certification or ability to obtain.
• Pre-employment drug, felony, and motor vehicle record screenings.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Must climb ladders and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine daily, weekly, and monthly mechanical inspections at client facilities.
• Regularly report inspection findings to the Service Manager.
• Accurately input inspection results into the system.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Role:

A Part-Time Service Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, & support of industrial refrigeration equipment for our valued customers. A working knowledge of commercial & industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required to be successful in this role.

Pay:

$25-30/hour, dependent on experience

Schedule:

This part-time role requires 2-3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, scheduled within the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for a total of 10 hours per week

Key Duties

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate or have attained a GED, HVAC tech school preferred
• Universal EPA certification OR ability to obtain
• Company is a tobacco-free workplace and, as such, no tobacco products are allowed during the workday on the job site(s).
• The position requires a pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening
• Excellent physical condition as you will be required to climb ladders and occasional heavy lifting.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
• Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.
