Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. seeks a Service Technician to repair and maintain industrial refrigeration equipment. The role involves ammonia and Freon systems, electrical controls, and field service for food, beverage, and cold storage customers.

Expect regional overnight travel (50-60 hours per week). A safety-conscious, physically capable candidate with high school diploma or GED, EPA certification, and RETA certifications is preferred. Pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or have attained a GED.
• EPA universal certification OR ability to obtain.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.
• Motor alignment experience a plus.
• The position requires a pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening.
• Safety-sensitive position with drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support of industrial refrigeration equipment for food and beverage and refrigerated storage equipment (100 HP to 5,000 HP).
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot electric control systems and compressors in ammonia central systems.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
