Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time, direct-hire role with a South Dakota manufacturing client. You will diagnose equipment faults, perform repairs, and execute preventive maintenance on CNC and conventional machines, conveyors, and related systems.

You will work hands-on with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, supporting production and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two+ years maintaining equipment in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of machining equipment including milling, turning, and drill presses.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Overtime and occasional weekend or alternate-shift coverage; valid driver’s license; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled inspections, servicing and preventive repairs across production areas.
• Identify and resolve faults in mechanical, electrical and fluid-power systems.
• Replace worn components such as motors, bearings, belts, pumps and valves.
• Assist setup, leveling, alignment and calibration for operation of equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings and service instructions; follow repair requests.
• Use maintenance tools and instruments to assess condition and verify repairs.
• Assist during changeovers and startup of equipment.
• Document work and track replacement parts.
• Apply lockout/tagout and OSHA safety rules; follow established procedures.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians on installations and major repairs.
• Provide additional maintenance support as needed.
