Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an Electronics Technician for a direct-hire, onsite role in South Dakota. The position involves building, updating, and repairing industrial electronic controls and related equipment, collaborating with maintenance, manufacturing engineering, and suppliers to troubleshoot and upgrade systems.

Expect diagnostic work, installation of new equipment, PLC and robot programming, and safety improvements.

Formación

• Two-year technical degree or diploma in electronics or closely related discipline with three years of related work experience preferred.
• Candidates without a degree may be considered with seven years of related work experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and clear communication skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose faults in electronic and machine-control systems and restore production equipment to operation.
• Provide 24-hour service coverage with on-call rotation and defined response expectations.
• Install new equipment with appropriate documentation and install/update PLC logic and safety systems.
• Update controls and program industrial robots; assist engineering with automation upgrades.
• Assist engineering with drawings, specifications, and equipment research; evaluate controls products with suppliers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control-system problems with maintenance and external providers.
• Select and install machine controls and safety light curtains; coordinate safety-control improvements with the safety team.
• Train technicians on equipment, controls, and procedures.
