Job summary

Electronic Systems, Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to keep production equipment ready and reliable in our climate-controlled facility.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and cleaning, helping prevent downtime and support efficient manufacturing. The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance on production equipment and related accessories
• Maintaining SMT equipment, conveyors, reflow ovens, wave solder equipment, ventilation systems, tooling, and production computers
• Vacuuming loose electronic components and debris from equipment
• Assisting with feeder repairs, calibrations, and equipment setup
• Maintaining ultrasonic cleaning systems and batch wash equipment
• Replacing filters, cleaning tanks, and maintaining equipment support systems
• Identifying potential equipment issues before they impact production
• Supporting preventative maintenance tracking and documentation
• Operating floor maintenance equipment to maintain a safe manufacturing environment
• Working closely with Production and Engineering to help maximize equipment readiness and uptime
• Performing other production support duties as assigned
