Banner Health is seeking a Housekeeping/EVS Associate for the Mesa, AZ area. You will clean, sanitize, and maintain hospital environments to ensure a safe and welcoming setting for patients and staff. The job involves walking, pushing a cleaning cart, and handling cleaning chemicals.

You may work in areas like morgue or other specialty zones and must adhere to safety protocols. Schedule: 07:00 to 3:30 pm with weekend rotation; 07:00 to 1:30 pm with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others by phone and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing) as assigned.
• Empties hampers and transports soiled linen; manages trash and medical waste containers, including sharps.
• Inventories, restocks and replenishes supplies (toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap) in assigned areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of departmental equipment and notifies personnel for repairs when needed; logs equipment usage.
• May perform special projects (windows washing, wall washing, removing heavily soiled items).
• Responds to questions and requests from patients, staff and visitors; strives for high customer service satisfaction.
• Works under regular supervision within an assigned facility/area.
