Job summary

City Net is seeking a Guest Engagement Associate for a full-time day shift at an on-site, low-threshold interim housing site. Assist with program support, meals, donations, and client services while maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

The role emphasizes empathy, boundary setting, crisis intervention, and collaboration with Case Managers, Security, and Leadership to meet guest needs and ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Empathy toward individuals experiencing homelessness and urgent case management needs.
• Ability to set and maintain professional boundaries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to de-escalate conflicts and manage crises when needed.
• Ability to organize tasks, coordinate vendors, and manage supplies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meals, services, events, and volunteers; serve meals when needed.
• Communicate schedules and announcements to guests and staff.
• Replenish supplies and perform light cleaning.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as required.
• Build professional relationships with clients, staff, volunteers, and vendors.
• Greet and assist meal/service providers professionally during shifts.
