Job summary

Eddie Kane Steel Products is seeking a full-time Galvanizing Technician in Ohio to efficiently galvanize rebar bolts and ensure safety and quality in the galvanizing area. Responsibilities include moving materials, operating equipment, monitoring tanks, managing paperwork, and maintaining smooth workflow with accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical aptitude, reading and basic math skills, good dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude required.
• Basic reading and mathematical skills.
• Dexterity with balance and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Good oral and written communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Move raw material into and finished product out of the galvanizing area.
• Operate tools, crane, forklift to process rebar bolts in galvanizing area.
• Monitor tank statuses and advise supervisor of adjustments.
• Monitor consumable levels and request reorders.
• Complete required paperwork for galvanized material and nonconforming material.
• Maintain production flow and accurate documentation.
