Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a store associate responsible for picking and fulfilling customer orders, maintaining staging areas, and delivering service with a focus on quality and safety. You will operate certified equipment and support inventory accuracy while collaborating with leadership to resolve issues.

Candidates should be comfortable using basic computer systems and retail technology, with a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer usage (inputting, accessing, modifying information).
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Forklift, order picker and narrow aisle reach truck certification required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time. Maintain clean, organized, and safe staging areas.
• Deliver excellent service by choosing high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and partner with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits, order follow-ups, and locker management, reporting safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
