Job summary

Babylist is hiring an Assistant Manager of Fulfillment Operations for Day Shift at our fulfillment center in Commercial Point, Ohio. This hands-on leadership role centers on picking, packing, and kitting with direct ownership of a large portion of the FC.

You will report to the Operations Manager, coach supervisors, and build labor plans with the Senior Fulfillment Analyst to balance inbound and outbound volumes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment.
• At least 3 years managing supervisors or other people-leaders.
• Experience leading multiple workflows on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, in-person leadership across kitting, picking, packing, outbound sortation during the day shift.
• Engage on shift end to support handoffs, reporting, and activities with floor leadership.
• Partner with the Senior Fulfillment Analyst to build labor plans tied to inbound/outbound volume.
• Manage daily workflows to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Coach, train, and mentor supervisors to build a culture of accountability.
• Identify process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
• Track KPIs and adjust operations based on data to sustain performance.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment across shifts.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and cross-functional teams on priorities.
