Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for Day Shift at our Rocky Mount, VA site. You will perform routine building maintenance across carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing, plus general upkeep and event preparation.

Requirements include lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing ladders, working in extreme temperatures and noisy environments, and strong communication skills. 30+ hours weekly; $18.00–$22.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience performing routine building maintenance across carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb ladders.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures and loud environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be organized, detail oriented and able to multitask.

Aufgaben

• Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed.
• Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities.
• Clean windows and glass doors.
• Change HVAC filters as required.
• Prepare classrooms for incoming classes and events.
• On-call maintenance for facilities, 24/7.
• Oversee trash removal and cleaning services.
• Maintain exterior property, including some snow removal.
• Assist with show installs/removals.
• General cleaning and restoration tasks as assigned.
