Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure critical facility systems operate reliably for a healthcare client. You’ll work Monday to Friday daytime shifts, performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to keep electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems in top condition.

You will inspect assets, assist with equipment installations, and support energy management while ensuring safety compliance and smooth facility operations for patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience or combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Inspect and diagnose issues; conduct routine maintenance checks.
• Handle plumbing, light electrical work and general facilities upkeep.
• Check facility assets (doors, HVAC, plumbing) for safety and efficiency.
• Assist installation and modification of equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and coordinate with systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring operating efficiency of building systems.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
