Buck Company LLC in Quarryville, Pennsylvania is seeking a dependable Facilities Technician for our 1st shift to maintain buildings, equipment and workspaces. You will work closely with the Facilities Manager on hands-on maintenance to keep the facility safe, functional, and compliant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Clear and effective communication skills with team members and leadership.
• Ability to safely perform essential job functions in accordance with Buck Company safety policies.
• Motivated, self-directed professional who takes pride in their work and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Reliable, regular, and punctual attendance.
• 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance or a related trade is preferred.
• Basic electrical experience is preferred.
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facilities Manager with daily facility and maintenance activities
• Perform minor plumbing repairs and maintenance as needed
• Complete general carpentry work in office and foundry areas
• Repair and finish drywall; perform painting and patching as required
• Install lighting fixtures and assist with basic electrical tasks (as qualified)
• Assemble and install office furniture and fixtures
• Perform routine facility maintenance, including floor patching and general repairs
• Maintain compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Support a clean, organized, and safe working environment
