Job summary

Quaker Houghton PA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) with training on the 1st shift. The role supports safe, reliable plant operations by performing routine maintenance, preventive tasks, and basic repairs across boilers, HVAC, and process equipment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work orders, blueprints, SOPs, and work instructions
• General computer skills (email, Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Assist with plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, and preventive maintenance on office and lab building equipment, HVAC units, boilers, and related systems
• Monitor and maintain boilers and prepare them for inspections
• Document daily boiler and cooling water testing
• Monitor storage tanks and hot rooms temperatures
• Operate forklifts and vertical lifts and oversee equipment improvements
