Buck Company LLC is seeking a motivated 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Quarryville, PA. You will lead a team of production employees to ensure efficient operations, high-quality output, and a safe work environment on 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of foundry operations and equipment is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, work instructions, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily output, quality, and safety goals.
• Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to hourly team members.
• Assign and prioritize work based on production schedules and operational needs.
• Monitor machines and equipment; identify issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Ensure team members are properly trained in job functions, safety practices, and equipment use.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and team performance.
