Buck Company LLC, located in Quarryville, PA, is seeking a dependable Facilities Technician for 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). Join our team to maintain buildings, equipment, and workspaces, working closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 3+ years in facility maintenance; basic electrical work is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of facility maintenance or related trade preferred.
• Basic electrical experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist Facilities Manager with daily facility and maintenance activities.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Carry out general carpentry in office and foundry areas.
• Repair and finish drywall; paint and patch where required.
• Install lighting fixtures and assist with basic electrical tasks (as qualified).
• Assemble and install office furniture and fixtures.
• Perform routine facility maintenance and floor patching.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

Buck Company LLC is searching for a dependable, experienced Facilities Technician to join our 1st shift team in Quarryville, PA! As a Facilities Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining our buildings, equipment, and workspaces. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you will perform a variety of hands‑on maintenance tasks to ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and compliant.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the Facilities Manager with daily facility and maintenance activities
• Perform minor plumbing repairs and maintenance as needed
• Complete general carpentry work in office and foundry areas
• Repair and finish drywall; perform painting and patching as required
• Install lighting fixtures and assist with basic electrical tasks (as qualified)
• Assemble and install office furniture and fixtures
• Perform routine facility maintenance, including floor patching and general repairs
• Maintain compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Support a clean, organized, and safe working environment

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Clear and effective communication skills with team members and leadership
• Ability to safely perform essential job functions in accordance with Buck Company safety policies
• Motivated, self‑directed professional who takes pride in their work and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Reliable, regular, and punctual attendance
• 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance or a related trade is preferred
• Basic electrical experience is preferred
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred
