Job summary

Buck Company LLC in Quarryville, PA is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician for 1st shift to own and optimize complex electrical systems. The role emphasizes PLC-level troubleshooting, repair, and enhancements to maximize uptime and efficiency in manufacturing operations.

You’ll diagnose root causes, perform preventive maintenance, and work with production teams to ensure safety and compliance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a family-owned foundry environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 2–5 years of maintenance or related field experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow processes; stay organized.
• Independence to complete assignments; flexibility for shifts.
• Commitment to Buck safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment to meet production goals.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose network and technical programs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC systems.
• Resolve production problems in a timely manner.
• Diagnose causes of electrical malfunctions in equipment.
• Perform safety and operational tests.
• Estimate or quote maintenance repair costs.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
