Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for its Dixie Consumer Products facility in St. Marys, GA. This role supports machine reliability by performing mechanical and electrical maintenance and assisting with startup/shutdown projects.

The position involves rotating 8-hour shifts (day/night) with no weekend work, and a starting pay of $29.80 per hour. The team focuses on safety, health excellence, and injury-free operations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of manufacturing mechanical/electrical maintenance experience with safety procedures.
Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical/electronic equipment from 24VDC to 600VDC.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipment, process controls, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Set up components such as HMI, VFD, controllers, recorders as needed.
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial machinery.
Perform periodic maintenance routines to improve reliability and uptime.
Maintain maintenance logs in SAP with labor hours and PM findings.
Collaborate with operations to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
