Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado. The role requires 1 year of ED RN experience and a valid RN license with BLS certification. Day shifts with a 24-hour weekly schedule offer eligible part-time benefits.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED environment.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and information from interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Implement: Coordinates care and delegates tasks to team while managing time and resources.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes and revises the plan as needed.
• Professionalism: Maintains ethical standards and accurate documentation.
