Job summary

Altium Packaging, located in Sparta, Tennessee, seeks a maintenance technician to ensure machines run safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, program PLCs, and perform preventive maintenance across packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Limited Licensed Electrician certification.
• Forklift certification within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot, locate root problems and repair blow molders, baggers & support equipment.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Perform mold, pin and other mechanical changes.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all related equipment.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
