Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to support patient centered care by providing EEG testing to inpatients. The role includes routine and portable EEGs, documenting findings, and communicating results to physicians.

Qualifications include EEG certification (R.EEG T. or RPSGT preferred), BLS, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with on-call evening/weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of neuroanatomy and CNS diseases.
• Experience with routine and portable EEGs.
• Ability to document patient information in medical records.

Responsibilities

• Communicate accurate information at handoffs and with patients and families.
• Perform routine and portable EEGs per protocols.
• Document patient information in medical records.
• Review exams for technical accuracy and report to physicians.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends.
