Job summary

Requirements include ABRET eligibility, BELS/CPR, and experience in neurodiagnostics. This role serves diverse patient groups at a leading California hospital campus and supports high-quality neurological care.

Qualifications

• ABRET Eligibility: eligible to sit for ABRET EEG exam per criteria listed.
• Clinical skills include EEGs on adult and pediatric patients.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Schedule out-patient EEG procedures with high accuracy.
• Ensure pre-authorization is completed before appointments.
• Place electrodes with high accuracy and ensure data is ready for interpretation.
• Verify physician orders include all required elements.
• Care for neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Ensure test data is recorded, completed, and downloaded within 1 hour.
