SWEeping Corporation of America (SCA) in Houston, TX, is looking for a Day Diesel Mechanic on a full-time basis. You’ll service street sweepers and related heavy equipment, performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and air systems to keep our fleet safe and reliable.

The role offers hourly pay of $21–$36 with a first pay raise at 6 months, minimal travel, and benefits including weekly pay and comprehensive coverage.

Qualificações

• Requires safety-focused mindset and adherence to procedures.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and air systems preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints and follow specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Perform thorough inspections of equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Carry out assembly, repair, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Operate diagnostic tools to identify mechanical problems.
• Handle parts, lubricants, and fluids safely per procedures.
• Report issues promptly to management and document maintenance.
• Communicate maintenance needs to operators and team members.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
