Job summary

Deckers Brands in Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair and preventive tasks on heavy industrial equipment, conveyors, and facilities. You will work with AC/DC controls, PLCs, pneumatics and up to 480 volts, and you may manage small projects while training lower grade teammates.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC and DC.
• Proven track record of strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance including patching walls, lighting, racking, and furniture moves.
• Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment.
• Document all work orders with labor, parts and inventory data.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental policies as required.
