Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of Radiology experience.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and optimize techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest radiation dose (ALARA).
• Maintain infection control standards, room/equipment cleanliness and report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol and use venipuncture/sterile technique when needed.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review and finalize studies in RIS/PACS and transfer images as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and restock life-support equipment as required.
• Coordinate daily workflows and support department operations and compliance.
