Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC on a southwest suburban Atlanta site is seeking a Controls Technician for a day shift (7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday). The role involves designing and integrating controls for automated equipment, building PLC panels, and programming them to run production lines.

The position requires hands-on work with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, and robotic components, plus collaboration with engineers and the production team to ensure optimal output.

Qualifications

• Desire at least 6 years of related experience.
• Experience programming PLCs and ladder logic.
• Panel building and electrical system knowledge.
• Some robotics experience preferred.
• Experience with safety circuits and integration.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, operate, maintain and troubleshoot controls and automated systems.
• Build PLC panels and program/commission them.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and robotic controllers.
• Install pneumatics and hydraulics as per schematics.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to meet output goals.
• Perform preventative maintenance and part replacements as needed.
