Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in the southwest suburban Atlanta area seeks a Controls Technician for day shift (7:00am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri). You will participate in cell design, integrate controls, and install automated equipment, building PLC panels and programming them to run.

Responsibilities include configuring, testing, operating, maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting controls and automated production systems, with hands‑on work in pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, and robotics to ensure reliable

Qualifications

• Desire at least 6 years of related experience.
• PLC programming experience.
• Ladder logic troubleshooting experience.
• Panel building experience.
• Electrical experience.
• Some robotic experience.
• Safety circuit integration.
• Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install pneumatics: air logic controls from prints or schematics.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic circuits and components (valves, cylinders, accumulators).
• Troubleshoot PLC systems using computer.
• Install, program, or repair programmable controllers and robot controllers.
• Perform maintenance on fabrication equipment.
• Operate or oversee equipment; diagnose events; work with engineers to improve output.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Repair or replace defective parts; disassemble/reassemble equipment.
• Train others to install, use, and service equipment.
