Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Kalispell, Montana is seeking a licensed Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under the direction of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, and administration, ensuring the highest quality resident care at all times.

You will perform resident rounds, verify IDs, assist with daily living activities, document care, and work harmoniously with colleagues to support ill, elderly residents in a respectful, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience during certification class.
• Must possess desire to serve ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned in accordance with facility policies and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide quality care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands promptly.
• Make beds and keep bedside areas clean.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within resident reach.
• Other related duties as directed by supervisor.
