Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Minimum 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA experience in certification class.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care as directed by supervisors and policies.
• Perform rounds at shift start and every two hours to ensure quality care.
• Verify resident ID before providing care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions immediately.
• Make beds and keep bedside and overbed areas clean.
• Keep water pitchers filled and within resident reach.
• Handle other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
