Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Montana is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care as directed by supervisory staff to maintain high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active CNA license, at least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA exposure, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. The candidate should be patient, compassionate and able to work harmoniously with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Minimum 6 months of CNA experience or clinical exposure in a CNA program.
• Demonstrates genuine desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Patience, cheerful disposition and ability to work with residents at their current level.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions.
• Make beds and keep bedside/overbed areas clean.
• Ensure water pitchers are filled and within reach for residents.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
