Job summary

Intersect Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide quality nursing care to residents in a compassionate, patient-focused environment. The role includes coordinating with the department and other units, reporting to the supervisor, and assisting with tasks to support daily operations.

The CNA will follow care plans, monitor residents' condition, assist with grooming, mobility, hygiene, and documentation in PCC, while upholding residents' rights and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or complete a Michigan approved CNA training program and be eligible to test.
• One year of experience in long-term care, hospice, or health care preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality.
• Attends to the individual needs of residents, including grooming, bathing, feeding, incontinent care, and mobility.
• Maintains the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents while delivering services and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Assists with orienting residents and families to the nursing home and unit during admissions and transfers.
