Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living in Medford, OR is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the DAY shift 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The CNA provides routine daily nursing care and services per each resident's assessment and care plan.

Duties include checking residents' personal care needs, reviewing care plans daily, informing the nurse of changes, assisting with daily activities and transportation, and keeping a warm, calm environment while ensuring rooms are ready for receiving

Qualifications

• Must have a 10th grade education or above.
• Must be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state.
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure personal care needs are met as per wishes.
• Review resident care plans daily for changes to the care plan.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of changes in resident condition for updates to the care plan.
• Assist residents with daily needs, including activities and transportation to appointments.
• Create a warm, patient, enthusiastic atmosphere and a calm, cheerful environment.
• Ensure residents' rooms are ready and residents are comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by government agencies.
• Communicate resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and administrator.
