Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals in Texas is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a Full Time Day shift. The role involves support for diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, including equipment operation, imaging, and device handling.

Call is required, typically 6 shifts per month, with eligibility within 30 minutes of the hospital. You will scrub, monitor, and assist with hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, prepare supplies, manage sterile fields, and document patient information

Qualifications

• Allied Health Degree or three years of Cath Lab or EP experience.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
• Scrub assist for diagnostic and interventional CV procedures and prepare supplies and instruments.
• Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field under supervision.
• Documentation of procedures and patient information per hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure schedule and assist with inventory control.
