Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join our team. The role involves providing technical assistance for diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, including equipment operation, monitoring, imaging and use of devices.

You will scrub, prepare supplies and maintain sterility for procedures. You will monitor hemodynamic and ECG data, document patient information, coordinate schedules, and assist with inventory control while supporting the hospital's

Qualifications

• Allied Health Degree or three years of Cath Lab/EP experience.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• ACLS issued within 1 year of hire date/transfer.
• Certification as RCIS or ARRT or three years Cath Lab/EP experience.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
• Scrub assist for all diagnostic and interventional CV procedures with preparation of supplies and sterile field.
• Injection of contrast media and medications from sterile field under physician supervision.
• Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.
• Coordinate procedure schedules as assigned and assist with inventory control as directed by supervisor.
