Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. is seeking a Packaging Specialist for first shift (Mon-Fri) in a cannabis facility. The role covers assembling, weighing, packing, labeling products, and ensuring quality control per SOPs.

On-site duties include operating packaging equipment, QA sampling, and safe handling through the packaging workflow. Responsibilities include transporting finished goods, destroying cultivation waste as needed, and maintaining a clean, compliant workspace within state regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a related position.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to register with the state’s cannabis commission as an agent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to register with the state cannabis commission as an agent.
• Able to stand for 90% of the time and lift up to 25 lb.
• Comfortable with changing environment temperatures and humidity.
• Demonstrates safe work practices and SOP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, assemble, package, seal, and label products.
• Safely operate packaging equipment, such as flow wrap, labeling, and heat-sealing machines.
• Collect samples for QA as needed for quality testing.
• Transport completed products from the packaging workspace to the vault.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility.
• Document all activity using the company's track and trace system.
