Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. in Florida is seeking a Packaging Specialist to assemble, weigh, package and label cannabis products for shipment to dispensaries. You will operate packaging equipment, collect QA samples, and maintain accurate records in our track-and-trace system.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs, with a focus on safety, temperature control, and clean work areas in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a related position.
• Able to follow detailed instruction and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
• Willing to learn about, operate, and maintain facility equipment safely.
• Must have effective time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to sit and stand for at least 8 hours per day, lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to register with the state cannabis commission as an agent.
• Occasionally move packages weighing up to 25 lb.
• Able to stand for 90% of the time.
• Comfortable with changing temperatures and humidity.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies of the industry.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate packaging equipment (flow wrap, labeling, heat-sealing).
• Collect samples for QA and quality testing.
