Job summary

Ayr Wellness in Florida is seeking a Packaging Technician to safely package and label cannabis products. Working in a team, you will maintain product integrity from processing to customers.

You will perform filling, labeling, follow cGMP, meet production goals, keep areas clean, document records, and collaborate with QA to ensure quality. The role requires willingness to work nights or weekends and passing background checks.

Qualifications

• Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agencies.
• Must pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies.
• Able to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies.
• Must be able to work on nights, weekends or alternate shifts.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate filling, packaging and labeling in compliance with policies.
• Follows cGMP to ensure safety and quality of products.
• Meet daily production schedule and goals set by Production Manager/Team Leads.
• Maintain cleanliness of packaging equipment and production areas and sanitation practices.
• Document line inefficiencies and downtime; resolve with team cooperation.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure process parameters and testing per regulations.
• Ensure timely completion of production records and quality records.
• Foster a positive work environment and curiosity for cannabis.
