Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a Blow Molding Setup Technician for the Day Shift in Bethlehem, PA. You will prepare, install, and calibrate molds and tooling for extrusion and blow molding machines to keep quality high and downtime low.

The role requires 3–5+ years of manufacturing with blow molding, mechanical troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and CMMS knowledge (MaintainX preferred). You will document data, coach teammates, and coordinate with Maintenance, Production, and Quality to

Qualifications

3–5+ years in manufacturing with blow molding experience.
Mechanical troubleshooting strengths with hand tools.
Able to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics; detect quality flaws.

Responsibilities

Own mold maintenance: clean, polish, lubricate molds and components.
Lead mold installs, alignment, and changeovers for production starts.
Configure blow molding parameters: temperatures, parison programming, and pin settings.
Diagnose defects and correct them quickly (flash, thin walls, uneven distribution).
Tune machine settings to hit quality and production targets.
Document production data, downtime, and material usage accurately.
Coach teammates and share best practices to raise skills.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, and Quality to drive uptime.
