Banner Health is hiring an Acute Pharmacy Technician for the Phoenix campus. The role supports pharmacists with packaging, distribution, non-sterile compounding, and documentation.

Expect patient interaction, inventory management, and adherence to USP guidelines in a fast-paced hospital setting. The position operates day shift 6:00am-2:30pm with a rotating weekend schedule, plus incentives and differential pay for weekend and night coverage where applicable.

Formación

• Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure.
• AZ Board Wallet Card must be provided at time of hire.
• Must demonstrate strong math calculations and attention to detail with good communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identifies medications and items for reorder to maintain inventory.
• Manages users within the dispensing technology database and troubleshoots discrepancies.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients and staff in all contacts.
• Restocks medications and uses barcode verification when applicable.
• Compounds non-sterile medications and documents procedures per policy.
• Maintains safe, clean working environment and performs quality control activities.
• Handles narcotic medications according to all regulations and policy.
