Job summary

City View Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, energetic Activity Assistant to join our team. You will plan and conduct creative activities, tailor to residents’ interests, and support the Activity Director in delivering engaging programs for seniors.

Full-time, day shift (9:00 AM-5:00 PM or 10:00 AM-6:00 PM). Pay is $18-$22/hour depending on experience. You’ll help create monthly calendars, document progress, and coordinate social gatherings to enhance quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient when working with seniors.
• Creative and enthusiastic about developing meaningful activities.
• Organized and able to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct individual, small-group, and large-group activities.
• Create an engaging environment that encourages resident participation and social interaction.
• Develop monthly activity calendars and maintain attendance records.
• Encourage residents to participate in self-directed activities such as hobbies, crafts, reading, games, music, and other interests.
• Coordinate and participate in resident outings and transportation as needed.
• Ensure in-room activities for bed-bound or isolated residents and maintain engagement opportunities.
