• Help prepare activity areas, supplies, and materials before and after programs.
• Assist with outings, celebrations, and community events.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and respectful environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents/participants and learn their individual interests and preferences.
• Document participation and provide feedback to the Activities Director or supervisor as needed.
• Work cooperatively with other staff members to support the overall needs and well-being of residents/participants.
• Follow all safety, infection-control, and organizational policies and procedures.

The Activities Assistant will help plan, organize, and lead engaging activities and programs that promote social interaction, creativity, physical well-being, and overall quality of life for our residents/participants.

Schedule

Full-Time: Approximately 40 hours per week.
Schedule may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings depending on program and facility needs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Ability to assist with setting up and transporting activity supplies and equipment.
• Ability to safely assist participants as required within the scope of the position.
