Vodec is seeking a Day Services Supervisor in Urbandale, IA to oversee daily operations of a day program serving individuals with developmental disabilities. You will supervise coordinators, implement care plans, and ensure activities promote independence and belonging.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or related field.
• One year in supervisory or management capacity.
• At least 19 years old with High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Pass background checks: criminal, DMV, abuse registries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program coordinators and direct support professionals.
• Develop and implement individualized participant plans considering goals and abilities.
• Ensure activities are engaging, diverse, and promote skill-building.
• Collaborate with team to design and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor participant progress and evaluate effectiveness of interventions.
• Maintain documentation and records, including participant files and medication records.
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid Waiver programs and state/federal regulations.
• Provide on-site supervision and ongoing training.
