Job summary

Hertfordshire County Council is seeking a Day Service Assistant Locality Manager to drive day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, older people and other needs. The role covers Hertford, Hoddesdon and Cheshunt with a supportive team and focus on quality and regulatory compliance.

You will assist the Deputy Locality Manager, oversee day-to-day operations, develop staff, and help shape therapeutic and purposeful activities in a progressive service.

Qualifications

• Health and Social Care RQF Level 3 and willing to complete the Health and Social Care Level 4 when in post
• Supervisory experience working in a social care or related setting (e.g., education or health)
• A good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills
• Experience of leading a team or service

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operational responsibility for the service and the team to ensure high-quality day opportunities
• Support the Deputy Locality Manager to achieve quality monitoring and regulatory compliance
• Split days across Hertford, Hoddesdon and Cheshunt to cover Older People and Learning Disability services
