Job summary

The WellStar Health System in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain and increase strength across the patient continuum.

In this role you will document evaluations, collaborate with physicians, educate patients and families, and discharge planning while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and the highest ethical practices.

Qualifications

• DPT/Masters/Bachelors in Physical Therapy required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills essential.
• Commitment to ethical practice and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Implements the physical therapy treatment plan.
• Selects appropriate treatment activities to progress patient towards goals.
• Revises goals/plan of care with patient/family input.
• Provides discharge instructions, follow-up and referral to community resources as appropriate.
• Acts as a referral source for staff, families, physicians on services and equipment related to rehabilitation services.
