Job summary

Devereux is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Homestead, PA to support individuals in a day program. This entry-level role requires following health and safety protocols outlined in each ISP, and maintaining clear, thorough communication with family, medical professionals, supports coordinators, behavior consultants, and staff.

You will help create a safe environment, support ADLs, document progress, and collaborate with clinicians and other team members.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma required.
• Previous experience preferred (not required) with individuals with developmental disabilities/autism.
• Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety protocols per ISP and department policies.
• Communicate clearly with family, medical professionals, supports coordinators, behavior consultants, and staff.
• Complete documentation and paperwork (Profiler, RADAR, assessments, group notes, data collection, progress notes).
• Review service notes for quality and provide feedback; assist clinicians as needed.
