Job summary

ViaQuest Day & Employment Services in Ohio is seeking a full-time caregiver/driver to transport and assist individuals with developmental disabilities in a Day Program. Training is provided and a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities include transporting clients to and from the Day Program, aiding in community activities, and delivering direct care to support independence while ensuring health and safety at all times. Benefits are offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Capable of pushing, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals between homes and Day Program using company van.
• Assist with community outings and transportation for individuals served.
• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence and safety.

At ViaQuest Day & Employment Services we provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities within our Day Program. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.

Responsibilities may include:

• Transporting the individuals between their homes and the Day Program through the use of a company, passenger van.
• Participating in community outings through the transportation and assistance of the individuals served.
• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
