Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. is looking for a Program Specialist to support individuals with developmental disabilities in our Day Program in Ohio.

The role includes transportation, assisting with community outings, and delivering direct care to promote independence and safety. Full-time position offering paid training, benefits including medical/vision/dental and a 401k, PTO, referral bonuses, and an employee discount program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and MVR must meet criteria.
• Ability to push/lift/carry up to 50 lbs and to crouch/balance.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals between homes and Day Program using a company van.
• Assist with community outings and transportation of individuals served.
• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to promote independence, choice and safety.

Program Specialist

At ViaQuest Day & Employment Services we provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities within our Day Program. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.

$17.25 per Hour / Full-time

Responsibilities may include:

• Transporting the individuals between their homes and the Day Program through the use of a company, passenger van.
• Participating in community outings through the transportation and assistance of the individuals served.
• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities - our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.

Requirements for this position include:

• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
