Beacon Specialized Living in Montrose, PA is seeking a Day Program Professional to lead structured daytime activities, support individuals in building independence, and promote community inclusion.

You will follow individual service plans, monitor health and safety, assist with daily living tasks, transport when needed, and document progress in logs and reports while collaborating with a caring, dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming.
• Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills.
• Implement individual service plans and track progress toward goals.
• Ensure health, safety, and dignity during program hours.
• Provide personal care and administer medications as trained.
• Promote inclusion and positive community engagement.
• Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies when needed.
• Complete required documentation, logs, and incident reports.
• Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment.
