Beacon Specialized Living in Montrose, PA is seeking a Day Program Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. You will lead daytime activities, promote independence, and foster community inclusion in a structured setting.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging activities, maintaining safety, and documenting progress. Training is provided for personal care, medication administration, and crisis prevention, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license required.
• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Compassionate and dependable with teamwork focus.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming.
• Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills.
• Implement individual service plans and progress toward personal goals.
• Ensure health, safety, and dignity during program hours, transportation, and outings.
• Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided).
• Promote inclusion and positive community engagement.
• Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely.
• Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports.
• Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment.
