Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. seeks a dedicated Direct Support professional for its Day Program in East Naples, FL. The role focuses on supervising staff and individuals, delivering supportive services, and ensuring safe, engaging activities in the community setting.

The position requires a valid driver’s license with endorsements, a HS diploma or equivalent, and at least two years in human services with supervisory experience. A drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings.
• Valid driver's license with endorsements and a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in the human service field.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides support and supervision to all staff and individuals in the Day Program setting.
• Creates and maintains a positive, learning, supportive environment for all employees and individuals.
• Ensures accuracy and efficiency in billing and staffing for daily revenue.
• Ensures implementation and documentation of all training, support and behavior programs as required.
• Ensures safety by accounting for all employees and individuals on site, in the van, and on trips.
• Provides constructive feedback to employees through positive interactions and mentoring.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
